Abstract:
The invention relates to telecommunication, in particular to cryptographic methods and devices for protecting information transmitted through telecommunication networks. The inventive method increases a cryptological hardness with respect to a differential cryptoanalysis and ciphering rate. The essence of said method consists in splitting a digital data block (DDB) into N$m(G)2 n-digit data sub-blocks (DDSB) and, afterwards in carrying out a controlled operational substitution by means of S sequential cycles. Each cycle consists in running Z primitive controlled substitutions and, afterwards a fixed substitution. The controlled operational substitution is run by means of a control vector pre-formed by one of DDSB or by DDSB and a secret key. The examples of the method implementation for a single-side conversion or ciphering are also disclosed.
