The present invention relates to a method for cutting hair using a hair stream, wherein the head is parted into a triangle to be appropriate for the spherical shape of the head and the hair is, at each of parting, distributed in the direction of hair stream to be cut. Therefore, the present invention essentially treats the hair stream differently from a conventional cutting method, which only considers the shape of the head, to allow a comfortable line to be obtained irrespective of the shape of the head and to prevent twisting after cutting, there is no need of complicated distribution and angles for various cutting types, and various types of cutting can be made just by considering a predetermined distribution on the basis of hair stream. The present invention provides a method for cutting hair using a hair stream, comprising: a sectioning step of dividing the head into three sections of a X level, Y level and Z level in the same direction parallel of the earth; a parting step of dividing each of the sections into a proper number in the same direction as the lines of longitude of the earth and sectioning the same into one or more triangles; a hair stream distribution step of distributing the hair of each of the parted portions in the direction of the hair stream; and a cutting step of determining length and design on the basis of an ear line and cutting hair by a moving design line method according to the hair stream distribution.
