Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method for cyclic code encoding, and a chip, a circuit assembly and an electronic device. A first cyclic code comprises K payload symbols and (N-K) check symbols, wherein each symbol comprises m bits, K, N and m are integers greater than or equal to one, and N is greater than K. The method comprises: generating, on the basis of a first symbol sequence that is related to a first part of the symbols in K payload symbols, a first check sequence corresponding to the first symbol sequence. The method also comprises: generating, on the basis of a second symbol sequence that is related to a second part of the symbols in the K payload symbols, a second check sequence corresponding to the second symbol sequence, wherein the first part of the symbols is different from the second part of the symbols. The method further comprises: generating (N-K) check symbols on the basis of the first check sequence and the second check sequence. In this way, cyclic code encoding with a large bit width can be implemented by using a cyclic code encoder with a small bit width.
