Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose a method for data transmission, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: the terminal device establishes and/or binds a protocol data unit (PDU) session according to a route selection descriptor list corresponding to a first rule in a user-equipment route selection policy (URSP), the route selection descriptor list comprising at least one set of index combinations, each set of index combinations in the at least one set of index combinations comprising at least one index, the each set of index combinations being used for indicating one set of parameter combinations, the parameter combination comprising a value of each parameter in at least one parameter for establishing and/or binding the PDU session, the at least one index having one-to-one correspondence to the at least one parameter, and each parameter comprising at least one value. According to the method, the terminal device, and the network device of the embodiments of the present application, a URSP space can be saved and flexibly used.
