Abstract:
A method of decommissioning a nuclear facility comprises the steps of: removing multiple sandboxes to expose multiple upper penetration holes; cutting an upper part of biological shield concrete to enlarge an upper side space of a cavity, wherein the biological shield concrete is disposed between the multiple upper penetration holes and between the multiple upper penetration holes and the cavity; and separating a nuclear reactor pressure vessel from the biological shield concrete.
