Abstract:
It is intended to provide a technique whereby an organic material contained in
polluted water or polluted soil, which contains a heavy metal together with the
organic material, is biologically decomposed. Namely, a method of decomposing
an organic material in the presence of a heavy metal by using a microorganism which
belongs to the genus Serattia or Cobetia and has an ability to
decompose an organic material in the presence of a heavy metal.
