Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for degassing of an ink-jet ink which is a highly viscous pigment ink while maintaining excellent productivity, storage stability, output property and granularity during printing of the ink. The method is characterized by performing degassing an ink-jet ink containing at least a pigment and having a viscosity of 10 to 50 mPa·sec (inclusive) at 25˚C using an external reflux-type hollow fiber degassing module under such conditions that the pressure loss of the hollow fiber degassing module during degassing becomes less than 0.1 MPa·sec.
