Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of developing a technology for efficiently manufacturing deinking pulp from printed material printed with UV ink. A method of manufacturing deinking pulp according to the present invention comprises a step of obtaining a waste paper slurry by defiberizing printed waste paper including a UV printed material in water, and a step of subjecting the waste paper slurry to a mechanical process using a rotary defibrating machine. The method makes it possible to obtain high-quality deinking pulp.
