Abstract:
The invention relates to methods for a demercaptanisation of dry and liquefied hydrocarbon gases, gasoline fractions, light oils and gas condensates and can be used for the gas, petroleum-refining, petroleum production and petrochemical industries. According to the invention, the demercaptanisation of a hydrocarbon stock (HCS) is carried out by extraction of mercaptanes with the aid of an alkali extractant, followed by oxidative regeneration of the mercaptanes with the aid of the extractant saturated with mercaptides in the presence of a catalyst used for oxidizing sulphides. A product of transformation of acidulous dirt of high-boiling hydrocarbon fractions formed as result of oxidative-catalytical purification therefrom of mercaptanes in an alkali medium is used as the alkali extractant. The high sulfur absorbability of the alkali extractant used for the DEMERUS process makes it possible to considerably reduce, in comparison with other known methods, the size of processing facilities, and to cut down investment and operating costs for carrying out said processing.
