Abstract:
A method for describing the positions of golf putting green hole cups and a coordinate hole map. The method comprises: describing the exact positions of hole cups in a putting green by using putting green coordinates; describing the relationships between ball holes and the edges of the putting green by using the distances from the ball holes to horizontal and longitudinal edges of the putting green; and then forming a golf coordinate hole map. The method overcomes the shortcomings in which the positions of the hole cups described in the existing hole map only have the longitudinal coordinates of the putting green and do not have the horizontal coordinates of the putting green, and the relationships between the hole cups and the edges of the putting green that are described only have the distances between the hole cups and the horizontal edges of the putting green, and do not have the distances between the hole cups and the longitudinal edges of the putting green; and the method fundamentally solves the problem of accurately describing the positions of the golf putting green hole cups in the putting green.
