Abstract:
Provided is a method for designing a blade of an axial-flow fluid machine, the blade having continuous radii of curvature in a wing surface at a leading edge, and providing high aerodynamic performance. The method comprises: a step of determining a pressure surface curve and a suction surface curve respectively as curves that are once to three-times differentiable at a pressure surface/suction surface connection point which is a connection point with a leading edge curve; and a step of configuring the leading edge curve by means of a 5th order Bezier curve in which, when the suction surface connection point is referred to as a first control point, the pressure surface connection point as a sixth control point, and the intersection point of a tangent to the pressure surface curve at the pressure surface connection point and a tangent to the suction surface curve at the suction surface connection point as a blade forward point, points that internally divide lines respectively connecting the blade forward point with the suction surface and pressure surface connection points are second and fifth control points, and points having coordinates obtained as a solution to simultaneous equations obtained by applying, to an expression of a 5th order Bezier function, continuity conditions for once to three-times derivatives at each of the first and the sixth control point are a third and a fourth control point.
