Abstract:
Provided is a method for designing a topological shape of a curved surface partition machining trajectory on the basis of a vector field. The method comprises: establishing function relationships between a chord height/residual height error and normal curvature of a cutting direction respectively, constructing a two-objective optimization model by means of normalization, and solving an optimal cutting direction of each point by means of an evaluation function to establish a space vector field; calculating the divergence and curl of a plane vector field after projection, and according to whether the divergence and curl are zero, implementing an initial division of a machining area; analyzing different vector field features, fitting a space vector field streamline, calculating kinematics parameters of the feed motion of a rotation axis of a machine tool along the streamline, and completing the subdivision of the machining area according to whether the kinematics parameters are mutated; and achieving the topological shape design of machining trajectories of different machining areas of a curved surface in conjunction with the cutting manner. The described method is suitable for complex curved surface partition machining, which may reduce machining errors and improve the stability of the feed motion.
