Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING COLIFORM BACTERIA IN MILK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/093545
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bacteriolysis method for detecting whether or not coliform bacteria are causing mastitis using the milk of livestock, and a detection method and detection kit comprising a lysis solution and an immunochromatographic device. Provided is a bacteriolysis method for coliform bacteria that includes a step for lysing coliform bacteria present in milk by mixing, in milk obtained from livestock, a lytic agent containing lytic enzymes and at least one anionic surfactant, and, preferably, at least one non-ionic surfactant. The lytic enzymes are preferably lysozyme.
