Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a method for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of a Syndecan 2 (SDC2) gene; a composition for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of an SDC2 gene; and a kit for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of an SDC2 gene and, more specifically, to: a method for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of an SDC2 gene by amplifying methylated SDC2 DNA by using a forward primer and/or a reverse primer, which complementarily binds to methylated SDC2 DNA and comprises at least one CG and/or GC; a composition for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of an SDC2 gene, containing the primer; and a kit for detecting the methylation of a CpG island region of an SDC2 gene, containing the primer.
