Abstract:
A method for detecting non-alcoholic fatty liver disease comprises: obtaining a sample derived from a body fluid of a mammal; and detecting at least one molecule selected from the group consisting of 2-aminoadipic acid, 2-oxocaproic acid, 2-oxoglutaric acid, alanine, glutamic acid, tyrosine, lactic acid, uric acid, valine, pyruvic acid, phenylalanine and proline in the sample.
