Abstract:
A method for detecting overlapped feeding of sheet material in which an external force is applied to a sheet material by touching an external force applying means to the sheet material, the external force applied to the sheet material is detected by a detecting means, and then a decision is made whether the sheet material is fed while being overlapped or not using a signal obtained from the detecting means.
