Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a simple method for detecting a protein in a liquid, said method requiring less time and expense than conventional methods. According to the present invention, it was discovered that coloring a protein using a color reaction specific to the protein, using a filter that readily adsorbs the protein in filtration to concentrate the protein on the filter, and recognizing the coloration makes it possible to easily detect and measure the protein. In addition, it was discovered that filtering the protein using the filter, concentrating the protein on the filter, and subsequently coloring the protein using a color reaction specific to the protein and recognizing the coloration makes it possible to easily detect and measure the protein.
