Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for detecting a reinforcing rebar position in precast concrete are disclosed. The precast concrete is irradiated with a laser to output scan data comprising color information and geometry information. On the basis of the geometry information and the color information, the valid scan data which removes the mixed pixels from the scan data is generated. The rebar scan data which is data representing reinforcing rebars is extracted from the valid scan data. The rebar scan data is divided into a plurality of segments using a region growing method and the segments are evaluated to select and output valid segments corresponding to each of the reinforcing rebars. Then, the position of each of the reinforcing rebars can be calculated by comparing a predefined design model of precast concrete with the valid segments.
