Abstract:
A method of detecting a shift in a camera position for detecting a shift in a camera position in a robot system. Before the start of operation of a robot, a fixed point for recognition is picked up by a camera to obtain image pick-up data (S1, S2), positional data are obtained from the image pick-up data (S3), an error (DELTAepsilon) between the positional data and reference position data is obtained (S4), when this error (DELTAepsilon) exceeds a tolerance value (epsilona), a camera position shift alarm is output (S6). With this arrangement, a shift in a camera position can be checked before the operation, thus enabling a safe operation.
