Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING SUBSTANCE TO BE DETECTED, DETECTION KIT AND DETECTION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DETECTION KIT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/234849
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A detection kit (10) includes a photothermal conversion region (honeycomb polymer film (12) and thin film (13)) that absorbs light to convert the light to heat. A plurality of pores (14) are arranged in the photothermal conversion region. This detection method includes first through third steps. The first step comprises introducing a plurality of antibody-modified beads (23), the surfaces of each of which are modified by an antibody (22) capable of specifically binding to a substance (microbe) to be detected, into the plurality of pores (14). The second step comprises irradiating the photothermal conversion region with light having a wavelength that is included in the absorbed wavelength region of the photothermal conversion region, and thereby heating a sample to generate a convection current in the sample. The third step comprises detecting a microbe by monitoring the detection kit (10) after irradiation with light.
