Abstract:
A method for detecting a tail current of a transformer, (1) detecting monotonicity of a sample value; (2) if the sample value has a monotonic increasing/decreasing feature, and exceeds a time setting, then the sample current is determined as a tail current. The method for detecting the monotonicity of the sample value is: calculating the differences of a current sampling point and the previous N sampling points, if the differences are greater than zero, then the current sampling point has a monotonic increasing feature; on the contrary, if the differences are less than zero, then the current sampling point has a monotonic decreasing feature, 1
