Abstract:
The present invention reliably and efficiently accumulates foreign matter on a green tire formed by a strip winding method. This method comprises: a raw data obtainment step Sa for creating three-dimensional raw data D0 of a surface 3 to be inspected, through rotation of a green tire T and through irradiation with sensor light 2L in an X direction by a two-dimensional displacement sensor 2; an averaging process step Sb for obtaining three-dimensional processed data D1 by performing an averaging process on the three-dimensional raw data D0; and an imaging step Sc for binarizing each distance data pieces z of the three-dimensional processed data D1 on the basis of a threshold value, and imaging three-dimensional processed data D2 which is resultant data of binarization. Widths Wx and Wy of a range K of the averaging process are set to be greater than a spiral pitch P of a rubber strip G and less than a width Gw of the rubber strip G.
