Abstract:

This method for determining the authenticity of a pharmaceutical composition for oral administration includes: irradiating, with infrared light, a pharmaceutical composition which is for oral administration and is marked with a mark containing an edible substance which can be visually recognized when irradiated with white light and which can be visually recognized when irradiated with infrared light, and a mark containing an edible substance which can be visually recognized when irradiated with white light and which cannot be visually recognized when irradiated with infrared light; and determining whether or not a visual recognition mark visually recognized on the pharmaceutical composition for oral administration irradiated with the infrared light and a reference mark prepared in advance match with each other.
