Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a means for determining the auxotrophy in an industrial animal. The problem can be dissolved by comparing mRNA expression data obtained before the change of the physiological state of the industrial animal with mRNA expression data obtained after the change of the physiological state of the industrial animal to identify mRNA of which the expression is changed before and after the change of the physiological state, then identifying a metabolic pathway of which the expression is changed before and after the change of the physiological state on the basis of the identified mRNA, and then identifying a metabolite that is highly auxotrophic in the industrial animal before or after the change of the physiological state on the basis of the identified metabolic pathway.
