Abstract:
A method for determining a change in distance, a location prompting method and an apparatus and a system thereof. The method for determining a change in distance comprises: a receiving terminal (112) acquiring acoustic signals at a preset frequency sent by a transmitting terminal (113) (step 11); according to the acquired acoustic signals, determining a change in distance between the transmitting terminal (113) and the receiving terminal (112) (step 12). The method for determining a change in distance provided herein can determine a change in distance between two terminals even when a relatively small positioned distance exists between the transmitting terminal (113) and the receiving terminal (112). The method also can generate corresponding prompt information according to the change in distance between two terminals, and the prompt information is used to prompt a user about a change in distance between the two terminals, and guide the users to move in a direction which decreases the distance between the two terminals; when a relatively small distance exists between two positioned users, the chance of the users finding each other is increased.
