Abstract:

A method of determining completion of coin insertion, capable of easily and reliably determining completion of insertion of a required number of coins for purchasing a commercial article. A coin stay section (105) is constructed such that coins staying in a line in the coin stay section (105) are electrically connected in series. Further, a first electrode (121) in contact with a coin positioned at one end of the line is provided in the coin stay section (105), and a second electrode (123) in contact with a coin positioned at the other end of the line is provided in the coin stay section. Completion of insertion of a required number of coins is determined by whether or not an electric current flows between the first electrode (121) and the second electrode (123).
