Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of data processing, and relates to a method and apparatus for determining a data rollback period in a distributed storage system, and a machine readable medium and a system. The method comprises: periodically monitoring a persistence operation of the system and generating monitoring records, the system comprising multiple nodes, the monitoring records comprising the node name of a master node that performs a persistence operation in the system, the completion time of the persistence operation, and the election time of the master node, where the election time is used to record the time when a node was elected as the master node; comparing the node names in two monitoring records having adjacent monitoring times; obtaining as a data rollback period the time period between the monitoring time in the monitoring record having a later monitoring time and the completion time of the persistence operation in the monitoring record having an earlier monitoring time in the two adjacent monitoring records, or using the time period between the election time and the completion time of the persistence operation as a data rollback period. The present method can accurately determine the time period of data loss.
