Abstract:

A method of determining defective insertion of a terminal includes a step of determining a defective state by judging whether preset conditions are satisfied or not in a pressure-welding period (Tc) in which a pressure-weld portion (24) is pressure-welded to an electric wire (18), a step of determining a defective state by judging whether preset conditions are satisfied or not in an intermediate period (Tm) between the pressure-welding period (Tc) and a press-fit period (Ti) in which a press-fit portion (23) is press-fit into a press-fit receiving portion (15b), and a step of determining a defective state by judging whether preset conditions are satisfied or not in the press-fit period (Ti).
