Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for determining a forwarding path. The method comprises: a control device obtains a first forwarding path calculation request, the first forwarding path calculation request instructing to calculate a first forwarding path that is from a source node to a destination node and that satisfies necessary constraints; and when the control device calculates at least two forwarding paths satisfying the necessary constraints, the control device obtains a path calculation reference constraint having a highest priority according to a mapping relationship between the path calculation reference constraint and the priority; and according to the path calculation reference constraint having the highest priority, the control device determines at least one forwarding path satisfying the path calculation reference constraint having the highest priority in the at least two forwarding paths satisfying the necessary constraints. The present invention helps to select a preferred forwarding path when a control device calculates a path.
