Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating an assistance system of a vehicle, wherein the speed recommendation for a currently travelled-on route section is determined as a function of one or more information items, and in which the determined speed recommendation is output to a vehicle driver of the vehicle and/or said method adjusts the speed of the vehicle autonomously to the determined speed recommendation. According to the invention, a temporary speed recommendation shall be defined in the event that no speed recommendation can be determined.
