Abstract:
The present application provides a method for determining a timing advance reference time and a device. The method comprises: a terminal apparatus determining a time difference and an offset, wherein the time difference is a time difference between a first downlink receiving time unit and a second downlink receiving time unit, the first downlink receiving time unit corresponds to a first uplink transmission time unit, and the second downlink receiving time unit corresponds to a second uplink transmission time unit; and the terminal apparatus determining a duration TA by which an initial time of the second uplink transmission time unit is earlier than an initial time of the second downlink receiving time unit, wherein the initial time of the second downlink receiving time unit is determined on the basis of an initial time of the first downlink receiving time unit, the time difference, and the offset. The invention determines, on the basis of a time difference, an offset, and an initial time of one downlink receiving time unit, an initial time of another downlink receiving time unit, such that a network apparatus is capable of acquiring an accurate transmission time of an uplink transmission time unit, thereby achieving accurate channel estimation or channel prediction.
