Abstract:
A memory included in an electronic device stores instructions causing, when executed, a processor to: identify whether a characteristic value measured from a sensor satisfies a designated condition while acquiring a first image including a user's eye; when the characteristic value satisfies the designated condition, identify a pupil position in the first image by using a first scheme of extracting a feature point on the basis of matching with a designated pattern; acquire a second image including the user's eye; identify the amount of change in the second image on the basis of the first image; when the amount of change in the second image is equal to or greater than a designated level, calculate an accuracy degree of the first scheme; and on the basis of the accuracy degree, identify a pupil position in the second image by using the first scheme or a second scheme of extracting a feature point on the basis of a learned network.
