Abstract:
A method and device for achieving the parallel call function of the multimedia
call. The said method comprises that: when a user performing the first multimedia
session initiates a call holding HOLD service, the MSC SERVER informs to interrupt
the media stream channel of the first session; and the MSC SERVER uses the bear
of the side which has initiated the HOLD to establish the media stream channel
between the user initiating the HOLD and the opposite side user of the new session
to achieve the second session.
