Abstract:
A method and device for acquiring and issuing application information. The method for acquiring application information comprises: a radio node management entity (RNM) sending a request message for application information which carries an application name to a centre management entity (CME); and the RNM receiving a response message sent by the CME, so as to acquire application information corresponding to the application name carried in the response message. The method for issuing application information comprises: a CME establishing a connection to an RNM and actively sending a configuration message which carries an application information list to the RNM; or, the CME establishing a connection to the RNM, and issuing the application information list to the RNM by means of a response message if a request message for the application information list sent by the RNM is received. In the present application, the RNM and the CME can directly or indirectly acquire accurate application information from an application server provider, and allocate radio resources for requirements of an application.
