Abstract:
A method and device for acquiring and sending a user equipment identifier, relating to the technical field of wireless communications, and being used for solving the problem that a user equipment identifier cannot be acquired after a UE accesses a core network from a Non 3GPP side. The method for acquiring a user equipment identifier comprises: a network side device sending a user equipment identifier request to a UE after the UE accesses a core network from a Non 3GPP side; and receiving a user equipment identifier sent by the UE. In the embodiments of the present invention, since a network device can acquire a user equipment identifier of a UE by sending a user equipment identifier request to the UE after the UE accesses a core network from a Non 3GPP side, the problem that a user equipment identifier cannot be acquired when a UE accesses the core network from a Non 3GPP side is solved.
