Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ANALYZING OPERATING COST OF ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/162175
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for analyzing the operating cost of an electric power system. An analysis method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: collecting power generation information for each generator included in an electric power system and characteristic information about facilities of generators; grouping the generators included in the electric power system according to the type of fuel on the basis of fuel prices; linearizing nonlinear variables included in the collected information on the basis of constraints on reserve capacity of the generators, and determining a reserve distribution amount for each group of generators; and determining an annual operating cost of the entire electric power system on the basis of the determined reserve distribution amount by using an objective function for an economic analysis of the generators included in the electric power system.
