A method for configuring an AI parameter of a racing AI model, comprising: acquiring an nth generation parameter set, each parameter set comprising m sets of AI parameters, and each set of AI parameters being used to indicate a travel mode of a racing AI model on a racetrack, where n ≥ 1, and m ≥ 2; controlling the racing AI model according to m sets of AI parameters to conduct m fitness degree tests, to obtain m fitness degrees, the fitness degrees being positively correlated with a traveling distance of the racing AI model on the racetrack according to the AI parameters; if the m fitness degrees are all smaller than a fitness degree threshold, generating an (n + 1)th generation parameter set according to the nth generation parameter set; and if a target fitness degree greater than the fitness degree threshold is present in the m fitness degrees, configuring an AI parameter corresponding to the target fitness degree as a target AI parameter. Further provided are an apparatus and a device for configuring an AI parameter of a racing AI model, and a storage medium. A genetic algorithm is employed to achieve automatic adjustment of AI parameters, thereby improving efficiency when adjusting and configuring the AI parameters.
