Abstract:
A method and device for application control. The method comprises: presenting to a user an interface of a controlled application, the interface comprising a sleep monitoring instruction entrance and an audio and video player (101, 201, 301, 401, and 501); in the current state of the audio and video player, in response to a triggering operation of the user with respect to the sleep monitoring instruction entrance, instructing a sleep monitoring device to perform sleep monitoring with respect to the user (102, 202, 302, and 402); and adjusting the operating state of the controlled application on the basis of a sleep signal monitored by the sleep monitoring device (103 and 503). On such basis, an operation of the user turning on sleep monitoring is simplified, thus implementing the goal of flexible, simple, and highly efficient control of the operating state of an application on the basis of the sleep state of the user.
