Abstract:
A method of assembling a module of a ship hull consisting of a transverse bulkhead section (1) and of two pairs of sections (2) and (3), (4) and (5) perpendicular to the latter, provides for putting the transverse bulkhead section (1) in a horizontal position, putting a section (4) of one of the sections perpendicular to the transverse bulkhead in a vertical position and fixing them to each other. Then the assembled part of the module is turned about a vertical axis, a section (3) of the other pair is put in a vertical position and is secured to the assembled part of the module. After that the whole assembled part is turned again about a vertical axis, the remaining section (5) of the first pair is put in a vertical position and is fixed to the assembled part of the module. Finally the assembled part is turned again about a vertical axis, the remaining section (2) of the second pair is put in a vertical position and is secured to the assembled part of the module, thus forming whole module of the hip hull. A device for implementation of the method comprises a supporting platform (7) and a tilting platform (13) mounted on the latter and provided with a drive for its rotation about a horizontal axis and with grippers for holding the sections of the assembled module. Another platform (20) is mounted near the supporting platform (7) with the possibility of its reciprocal movement in a vertical plane and of rotation about a vertical axis of symmetry. The supporting platform (7) is provided with movable bogies mounted with the possibility of their rolling on the platform (20).
