Abstract:
A method and device for authenticating a paper product, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a first dielectric characteristic grayscale image of a target paper product to be authenticated and a second dielectric characteristic grayscale image of a sample paper product, wherein the sample paper product is an authenticated paper product (S102); comparing the first dielectric characteristic grayscale image with the second dielectric characteristic grayscale image to obtain a comparison result, wherein the comparison result is used for indicating the authenticity of the target paper product (S104); and prompting, according to the comparison result, authentication information matching the target paper product (S106). Accordingly, the technical problems of low accuracy and low precision in authenticating banknotes in the relevant art are solved.
