Abstract:
A method and device for automatic alignment to center in a book archive scanning process. The device comprises a V-shaped frame component capable of moving in the vertical direction, a guiding mechanism capable of moving in the transverse direction provided below the V-shaped frame component, a locking mechanism used for controlling the positions of transverse movements provided within the guiding mechanism, and a book supporting mechanism provided above the guiding mechanism, the book supporting mechanism can move in the transverse direction with the guiding mechanism, and the V-shaped frame component can be inserted into the book supporting mechanism when moved in the vertical direction. The device and method implement alignment to center when scanning, thus ensuring scan quality, allow tight attachment when aligned to center, thus softening angle and reducing friction, and protect paper surfaces of book archives, thus ensuring the safety of the book archives.
