Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for automatic deployment of an application in a virtual environment. The method for automatic deployment of an application in a virtual environment comprises: receiving a download request transmitted by a virtual network functions manager (VNFM), downloading, according to the download request, an application software package, and reporting downloading progress to the VNFM; receiving an installation request transmitted by the VNFM, the installation request being transmitted by the VNFM after the downloading progress indicates completion of the downloading of the application software package; and installing the application software package according to the installation request. In the solution of the invention, interaction with a virtual network functions manager (VNFM) realizes automatic deployment of an application in a virtual environment, thereby solving a problem in the prior art in which an ETSI NFV architecture is unable to realize automatic deployment of an EMS.
