Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for transporting and sorting a sorter pocket (11) for transporting piece goods (95), which pocket hangs from a roll adapter (17) rolling along a rail network (15) of a sorting facility (13). To permit improved transportation and sorting, the following steps are carried out: - providing the rail network (15) of the sorting facility (13), - providing the roll adapter (17) of the sorter pocket (11) which roll adapter rolls along the rail network (15) , - providing electric energy (19) to drive the roll adapter (17), and - by means of the roll adapter (17), transforming the electric energy (19) provided into kinetic energy for transporting the sorter pocket (11).
