A method and device for binding a point of interest (POI) to a road are used for achieving the binding of a reasonable POI and a road. The method comprises: determining a road within a preset geographical range centered on the POI to be bound (101); calculating the vertical distance between the POI to be bound and the road (102); determining whether the vertical distance is less than or equal to a preset first distance threshold (103); if the vertical distance is less than or equal to the first distance threshold, planning a first path by taking a node on the road as a starting point and the POI to be bound as a terminal point, and planning a second path by taking the POI to be bound as a starting point and the node as a terminal point (104); if the length of the first path is less than or equal to a preset second distance threshold and the length of the second path is less than or equal to a preset third distance threshold, binding the POI to be bound to the road, otherwise discarding the POI to be bound (105).
