Abstract:
A method and a device for boring a lens applicable to various kinds of lens. The device (10) for boring a lens comprises a means (30) for holding a lens (12) to be bored attached with a marker, and a means (32) for boring the lens (12). The lens holding means (30) is provided with a marker (46) corresponding to a parent marker (18) such that the lens can be held while matching the marker (46) with the marker (24) attached to the lens (12). The boring means is provided with a means for controlling the boring depth of the lens.
