Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for calculating at least one physical amount of a blood flow from speed information of the blood flow in a first direction can comprise the steps of: acquiring first data, which includes speed information of a blood flow in a first direction at each point within a subject, and position information of the external diametrical boundary of the subject; generating fourth data by correcting the first data so as to form a continuous curved surface in a three-dimensional space in which the speed of the blood flow in the first direction at any one point within the subject and the speeds of the blood flow in the first direction at at least one point adjacent to the one point define the speed in the first direction as a height value; generating fifth data by correcting the fourth data so as to remove a frequency component higher than or equal to a predetermined frequency in a wave formed by the speed of the blood flow in the first direction at the any one point within the subject and the speeds of the blood flow in the first direction at the at least one point adjacent to the any one point; and calculating the speed of the blood flow in a second direction on the basis of the fifth data and the position information of the external diametrical boundary of the subject.
