Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for coding competition-based interleaved motion vectors, and to a method and a device for image encoding/decoding using same. One embodiment of the present invention provides the device and the method for coding motion vectors, and the method and the device for image encoding/decoding using same, comprising the following steps: deciding the high-priority component of the motion vector of a current block and the low-priority component of the motion vector of the current block, based on a correlation diagram of the x and y components of the motion vectors of the peripheral blocks of the current block; selecting the optimal prediction block set from the high-priority component of the motion vector of a predetermined prediction block set candidate and from the high-priority component of the motion vector of the current block; generating information on the optimal prediction block set; calculating the high-priority component of a prediction motion vector from the optimal prediction block set, and calculating a high-priority differential value, which is the differential value between the high-priority component of the prediction motion vector and the high-priority value of the motion vector of the current block; and calculating the low-priority component of the prediction motion vector from a predetermined low-priority prediction block set, and calculating the low-priority differential value, which is the differential value between the low-priority component of the prediction motion vector and the low-priority component of the motion vector of the current block.
