Abstract:
Disclosed is a method comprising the steps of: extracting the gene sequence of a first gene from a first database in response to reception of a user's input; generating segmented sequences on the basis of the reverse complementary sequence of the gene sequence of the first gene; identifying, on the basis of comparison of the segmented sequences with the gene sequences of a second database, at least one matching sequence corresponding to at least one segmented sequence of the segmented sequences, the at least one matching sequence targeting a second gene different from the first gene; identifying the sequence characteristics of the at least one segmented sequence and the at least one matching sequence; scoring the at least one segmented sequence and the at least one matching sequence by applying a first weight to a first sequence characteristic among the sequence characteristics and a second weight to a second sequence characteristic among the sequence characteristics, the second weight being larger than the first weight; and displaying the at least one segmented sequence and the at least one matching sequence on the basis of the scores of the at least one segmented sequence and the at least one matching sequence.
