Abstract:
The present invention discloses methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. According to embodiments of the present invention, a terminal device receives, from a network device, a configuration for survival time. The terminal device monitors an unsuccessful transmission of a data packet on a radio bearer or a logical channel configured with the survival time based on the configuration. If a condition for triggering the survival time is satisfied, the terminal device transmits the data packet with packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) duplication or change a first configuration of a physical (PHY) entity and a second configuration of a medium access control (MAC) entity. In this way, the transmission reliability can be improved and the latency of transmissions can be reduced.
