Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates. A method performed by a network-controlled repeater (NCR) in a communication system according to an embodiment disclosed herein may comprise the steps of: receiving upper layer signalling including configuration information related to the switching of the on-off state of the NCR; receiving control information including instruction information related to the switching of the on-off state; and performing the switching of the on-off state on the basis of the configuration information and the control information.
